Xavier Landscapes and Designs located in Pocono Pines, PA is a quality driven, landscape and snow management company, offering landscape design, installation and maintenance to a variety of residential and commercial clients.

We are hiring the following positions for our spring 2025 season:
Hardscape Laborer
Landscape Laborer
Landscape Install Foreman

These positions will begin with our spring season and will work alongside team members involved in the construction of landscapes and outdoor living spaces.

All Positions Require:
-Valid driver’s license
-1-3 years experience in similar work setting
-Ability to pass a drug test
-Ability to work overtime

Schedule: Seasonal, 40+ hours per week (March – December)
Competitive starting wage

Open Positions:

Landscape Install Foreman

Responsibilities Include:
-Experience in supervising personnel in a professional setting
-Experience providing direction to individuals in any environment
-Ability to work on their own as well as communicate with team members effectively and professionally
-Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
-Ability to work in various weather conditions
-Proper cleaning and maintenance of all equipment and machinery
-Other duties as assigned

Necessary Skills:
-Problem solving is a must
-2-3 years experience leading and teaching crew members
-Ability to operate equipment such as Skid steers, Mini Excavators, Compact loaders, etc.
-Ability to operate a truck and/or trailer combination
-Experience maintaining landscape in private, public, and commercial areas
-Softscapes: Planting techniques, lawn installation
-Lighting: Knowledge or desire to learn low voltage lighting installation
-Knowledge and understanding of the tools and methods of landscape construction

Hardscape Laborer

Requirements Include:
-Knowledge of pavers, block retaining walls, natural stone work
-Knowledge or desire to learn low voltage lighting installation
-Knowledge and understanding of the tools and methods of hardscape construction
-All applicants will have good communication skills, a professional appearance and positive attitude
-Ability to work on your own and with a team is a must
-Ability to work in various weather conditions
-Proper cleaning and maintenance of all equipment and machinery
-Ability to perform other duties as assigned

Necessary Skills:
-Ability to operate equipment pertaining to hardscape construction such as skid steers, mini excavators, compact loaders, etc.
-Ability to operate a truck and/or trailer combination
-Knowledge and understanding of the hand and power tools and methods of hardscape construction (tape measure, level, scribe, cut-off saw, IQ saw, laser level, etc.)
-Knowledge of basic math and geometry
-Ability to read plans and blueprints

Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities Include:
-Knowledge of proper planting technique, grading, drainage, and basic site work
-Knowledge and understanding of the tools and methods of landscape installation
-Communication skills, a professional appearance and a positive attitude
-Ability to work in various weather conditions
-Ability to work on your own and with a team is a must
-Proper cleaning and maintenance of all equipment and machinery
-Ability to perform other duties as assigned

Necessary Skills:
-Ability to operate equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, compact loaders, mulch blower, etc.
-Ability to operate a truck and/or trailer combination
-Softscapes: Planting techniques, lawn installation, underground drainage installation, mulch and woodchip installation
-Lighting: Knowledge or desire to learn low voltage lighting installation
-Knowledge and understanding of the tools and methods of landscape construction
-Ability to read plans and blueprints
