Xavier Landscapes and Designs located in Pocono Pines, PA is a quality driven, landscape and snow management company, offering landscape design, installation and maintenance to a variety of residential and commercial clients.
We are hiring the following positions for our spring season:
Hardscape Construction
Landscape Construction
Landscape Maintenance
The position will begin with our spring season and will work alongside team members involved in the construction of landscapes and
outdoor living spaces.
Duties and Requirements:
-Applicants must have valid drivers license
-Vast knowledge in all landscape installation procedures including hardscape patio/walks/walls, proper planting techniques for trees, shrubs, perennials, and seed, the ability to read plans/blueprints, and to operate a truck and/or trailer combination.
-All applicants will have good communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
-Applicants must have the ability to communicate with team members effectively, and professionally.
Work experience/necessary skills:
-Ability to operate equipment such as Skid steers, Mini Excavators, Compact loaders, etc.
-Hardscapes: Pavers, block retaining walls, natural stone work
-Softscapes: Planting techniques, lawn installation
-Lighting: Knowledge or desire to learn low voltage lighting installation
-Knowledge and understanding of the tools and methods of landscape construction
-Ability to work on your own is a must
*Driver’s license required.
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour based on prior experience.
